The North American Export Grain Association (NAEGA), a not for profit trade association, established in 1912, consists of private and publicly owned companies and farmer-owned cooperatives that are involved in and provide services to the bulk grain and oilseed exporting industry.

NAEGA’s mission is to promote and sustain the development of commercial export of grain and oilseed and their primary products. Through a reliance on member action and support, NAEGA acts to accomplish this mission from its office in Washington D.C., and in markets throughout the world.

NAEGA Launches Wheat & Flour Testing Methods Website

NAEGA, in cooperation with Kansas State University’s Department of Grain Science and Industry, has officially launched a new website that provides an introduction to the quality analysis of wheat and flour in an easily understood format. The website, www.wheatflourbook.org, updates the reference book, Wheat and Flour Testing Methods : A Guide to Understanding Wheat and Flour Quality, which was authored and published by the Wheat Marketing Center of Portland, Oregon, in 2003.

The Wheat Marketing Center and the Northern Crops Institute were responsible for updating the book, which is available for download in PDF format from the website. The site is linked directly from any of NAEGA's public webpages, from the link list of links on the right hand side of each page. NAEGA and Kansas State University will continue to enhance the site, and the goal of the project is to ensure that the Wheat & Flour guidebook is updated quickly and regularly.
