Notice to the Trade

The North American Export Grain Association (NAEGA) welcomes Dana Clarke as its new Director of Contracts.

Dana Clarke joins NAEGA from Engelhart Commodities, where she served as Global Senior Director of Physical Operations. She brings over 35 years of experience in trade execution to the role, including at Glencore and Louis Dreyfus Company. She brings significant expertise in the NAEGA 2 Contract, having served in the NAEGA Contracts Committee and as an arbitrator.

Her expertise in trade execution, her comprehensive understanding of the key contracts across the industry, and her interest in using her knowledge to train users of the NAEGA 2 contract will enhance NAEGA’s strategy of advancing trade by fostering contract excellent. Bringing Dana on board ensures this critical knowledge remains in he house of NAEGA”, said Alejandra Castillo, President and CEO.

In the new role, Dana will guide NAEGA’s global contract education programs, including the development of online learning modules, and serve as the subject matter expert on trade contract issues in service of our members.

The recruitment of the Director of Contracts fulfills a critical need identified in NAEGA’s 2024-2027 tactical plan, better positioning NAEGA to deliver on its mission to promote and sustain the reliability of commercial agricultural exports.
