NAEGA welcomes Dana Clarke as its new Director of Contracts

Dana Clarke joins NAEGA from Engelhart Commodities, where she served as Global Senior Director of Physical Operations. She brings over 35 years of experience in trade execution to the role, including at Glencore and Louis Dreyfus Company. She brings significant expertise in the NAEGA 2 Contract, having served in the NAEGA Contracts Committee and as an arbitrator.

REVISIONS TO ADDENDUM NO. 1 OF NAEGA 2 FOB CONTRACT; UPDATED GUIDANCE DOCUMENTS AND TERMS OF USE EFFECTIVE AS OF TODAY 

The North American Export Grain Association (NAEGA) announces that the revisions to Addendum No. 1 of the NAEGA Contract No. 2 Free On Board (FOB) Export Contract (“NAEGA 2”) are now effective. 

The North American Export Grain Association (NAEGA) is pleased to present the 2025 Board of Directors. The election took place on March 10, 2025, as part of the organization’s Annual Meeting in Carlsbad, California. The Board will now play an integral role in the NAEGA mission to promote and sustain the reliability of commercial agricultural exports. 

Buyers and Sellers of agricultural commodities pursuant to terms of the NAEGA 2 Model F.O.B. Contract are advised that it is our understanding that circumstances related to a labor dispute initiated by the Canadian National Railway Co. and Canadian Pacific Kansas City Ltd. on August 22, 2024, has had an impact on Canadian export operations that may provide for a valid cause under the provisions of Clause 20. 

NAEGA 2 FOB Contract and Addendum No. 1 Revisions Effective as of Today 

The North American Export Grain Association (NAEGA) announces that the revisions to the NAEGA Contract No. 2 Free On Board (FOB) Export Contract (“NAEGA 2”) and Addendum No. 1, are now effective. 

NAEGA welcomes the New Year and looks forward to serving and working with you as we “Work Together to Make Trade Work” with important initiatives that include providing for a new Model NAEGA 2 F.O.B Contract and the Secretariat of the International Grain Trade Coalition.

NAEGA 2 FOB Contract and Addendum No. 1 Revisions Effective April 15, 2024 

Following a two-year review of the North American Export Grain Association (NAEGA) Contract No. 2 Free On Board (FOB) Export Contract (“NAEGA 2”) and Addendum No. 1, NAEGA today announces that it will publish and support updated and revised versions of each with an effective of April 15, 2024. 

Buyers and Sellers of agricultural commodities pursuant to terms of the NAEGA 2 Model F.O.B. Contract are advised that it is our understanding that circumstances related to the State of Emergency declared on Wednesday, November 17 by the Government of British Columbia, Canada have had an impact on export operations that is ongoing. 

Buyers and Sellers of agricultural commodities pursuant to terms of the NAEGA 2 Model F.O.B. Contract are advised that circumstances related to Hurricane Ida provide for a valid cause under the provisions of Clause 20. 

Imports to the European Union (EU) Member States of US soybeans intended to be used for

the production of biofuels and requiring compliance with the EU Renewal Energy Directive

(2009/28/EC).
